The Lake District, Christmas 2006.

I found this old photo from a year ago and liked the shape of the tree and the composition. Taken on the shores of Wast Water on a moody winter afternoon.

Taken with a Nikon D80, 18-70mm lens.
Two exposures.
Edited with curves, contrast, etc.

Superb.
I once got lost up Great Gable, and had to scree run all the way down.
When I turned round at that pub at the head of Wast Water, you could see a red scar all the way down. I was throughly ashamed of myself.
